Telecom Expense Management
Following a sustained period of growth, one of the worlds largest Retail Banks needed to look at ways of better managing its overall IT Telecom’s estate. This needed to include capture of a clear picture of what services where being supplied/utilized across the estate, to compare service billing from its various telecom service providers versus what was used/needed and where possible to drive down cost. ITPM were brought into run a Telecom Expense Management project that would analyze all voice and data billing across the estate. The output of this was to look at trends, over billing and to bench mark current services versus what was available on the market. The result was to significantly reduce costs, improve visibility and service, and to implement new processes for the overall capture and management of voice and data services going forward.

- Voice and data capture and analysis
- Appropriate service provider alignment
- Vendor selection and negotiation
- Implementing a service capture and Improvement plan
- Overall cost reduction
Global Contracts Re-Negotiation
One of the worlds largest Investment Banks made a strategic decision to rationalize its various IT contracts and services over an 18 month period. ITPM were brought into to renegotiate and improve its existing support contracts whist maintaining stability and control within its operations during this period of change.
ITPM Consulting’s role included:
- Business and Service provider alignment
- Management of the bid process
- Vendor selection and negotiation
- Implementing a Service Improvement plan
- Overall cost reduction
International Communications Build
One of the worlds largest Banks retained services of ITPM Consulting to Project manage the design specification and delivery roll-out of the Network, Data, Voice, Firewalls and Third Party connectivity for their Pakistan HO and branch network.
ITPM Consulting’s role included:
- Provide business case proposals for the Pakistan branch network.
- Ensure that all security requirements are met for design solutions and approval obtained.
- Ensure that all vendors conformed to the Banks standards for data protection and resiliency options.
- Assessment and qualification of suitable in country service Providers
- Management of all financial considerations as part of the project.
Enterprise Contact Centre roll out
ITPM Consulting was engaged by one of the world’s largest communications companies to provide the senior project management for the delivery of a new flagship service offering in South-east Asia. Working with the end client (a leading telco), their partners and resellers,
ITPM Consulting’s role included:
- Project definition.
- Management of partners and 3rd parties in order to deliver within tight timeframes.
- Management of a virtual team spead across the US and Asia.
- Overall accountability for the delivery of the Project within time and budget.
Datacentre Migration
A leading European Investment Bank engaged ITPM Consulting as their Programme Partner for the migration of their UK Datacentres. Capacity was the driver and timescales were tight.
